Fine Art Photography, things that turn on my creative side or just chasing the sun, I just enjoy the hunt and creating of images..At this point, I truly enjoy following my muse to whatever direction I'm sent in. Just SEEING the things around me.

GREETINGS FROM THE SWAMP!

This space allows me to share some of my visions that I have been exposed to. One of my favorite things to do is hit the road and look for images of "Louisiana Lost". Everything from Old Plantations, the historical graveyards. Sugar Mills, disappearing from the landscape as they shut down. Things that I grew up around, and took for granted, that everyone had a similar enviroment to ours, they didn't. The smell of Sugar Mills burning fields and grinding cane. Going into old structures and looking at the old wood, the saw marks telling just how these were cut and when. You can't help but to have respect for the quality of the materials and craftsmanship.

In the early days fo my adventure into the world of photography, I fell in love with creating images. I watched my mentors as they developed their 8 X 10 film by a green safelight. Watching these old Masters as they set up 8 X 10 view cameras and lights with 500 watt bulbs in white porcelain reflectors. These things left an indelible mark on my creative work. My mentors always shared with me and answered my never ending questions. And part of my agreement with them was to pass it on. ENJOY THE GALLERIES!
